    Beyond Boobs!

Please join VASFAA and your colleagues in supporting Beyond Boobs a Breast Cancer awareness group located in Williamsburg, VA by participating in our FUN 5K Walk / Stroll / Run (if you so desire) through the beautifully manicured grounds of Kingsmill Resort.

There is a paved path that runs through the resort starting and finishing right outside of where our condos are located.  Water bottles will be provided at the start and along the way to make sure everyone stays hydrated.

Please visit the website for additional information on this very worthy charity: http://beyondboobs.org/

    Registration opens at 9:30 AM.

    Registration fee is $20.00.

NOTE: Any member who has registered may request to cancel his/her registration no less than two weeks before the event start date and receive a full refund of any paid registration fees. If a member is unable to attend but the cancellation deadline has passed, it may be possible to transfer the registration to another individual within your organization if that individual is an active VASFAA member – contact the event coordinator for more information. The cancellation deadline is firm due to outside deadlines imposed on VASFAA for items such as catering, copies, meeting space, etc.

This is a pre-conference event prior to the 2016 VASFAA Conference.  You must register separately for the New Aid Officer Workshop.  Conference registration is not required to attend the New Aid Officer Workshop.

This year, we will dive into the world of financial aid with a combination of instructional presentations, hands-on exercises, and some financial aid games!  Please be sure to bring a mobile device (cell phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) capable of accessing the internet and a calculator.

Do you have the opportunity to do what you do best every dayChances are you don't. All too often, our natural talents go untapped. From the cradle to the cubicle, we devote more time to fixing our shortcomings than to developing our strengths.  Working within your top 5 strengths can assist you in developing your potential as an individual and in maximizing your impact within a team.  Participants must take the Strengths Finder 2.0 evaluation (available on Amazon or in most bookstores for $10-15) and print off and bring their Strengths Insight Report and Action-Planning Guide to the workshop.

Each of us is unique; Strengths Finder 2.0 provides your “fingerprint”!
