VASFAA New Aid Officer Workshop

Join us on Sunday, May 22 2016, from 10am to 5pm for the annual New Aid Officer Workshop!

Registration opens at 9:30 AM.  

Registration fee is $20.00.

NOTE: Any member who has registered may request to cancel his/her registration no less than two weeks before the event start date and receive a full refund of any paid registration fees. After this time, invoices/registrations may not be cancelled. (Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Board). If a member is unable to attend but the cancellation deadline has passed, it may be possible to transfer the registration to another individual within your organization if that individual is an active VASFAA member – contact the event coordinator for more information. The cancellation deadline is firm due to outside deadlines imposed on VASFAA for items such as catering, copies, meeting space, etc.

This is a pre-conference event prior to the 2016 VASFAA Conference.  You must register separately for the New Aid Officer Workshop.  Conference registration is not required to attend the New Aid Officer Workshop.

This event runs concurrently with the Leadership Workshop so members should register for either the New Aid Officer Workshop or the Leadership Workshop but NOT both.

The New Aid Officer Workshop is designed for the newer Financial Aid Professional - those with 5 years or less of experience - but all active members of VASFAA are welcome to join.

This year, we will dive into the world of financial aid with a combination of instructional presentations, hands-on exercises, and some financial aid games!  Please be sure to bring a mobile device (cell phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) capable of accessing the internet and a calculator.
