Reports to the Director of Scholarships and Financial Aid as a
member of the OSFA senior management team Responsible for BANNER
Systems planning, development, administration and operations
along with internal operations, data integrity, training,
reporting, electronic security and web management
Principal
liaison with University Information Systems and Computing staff
Responsible
for overseeing the development of an ongoing effort to
streamline processes and minimize risk between OSFA systems,
Bursar systems, Student systems and Controller systems
Supervises
professional employees managing federal program activities,
exception reporting, hardware and software maintenance and
imaging
Assists
the Senior Associate Director for Client Services and the
Director in the development and implementation of policies and
practices that contribute to achieving the goals of OSFA
including the maintenance and development of cutting-edge
electronic initiatives enhancing program integrity, minimizing
risk and providing significant added value to customer service.
Qualifications
·Proven track record of progressive responsibility and
achievement including positive performance evaluations and merit
salary decisions
·Knowledge of and ability to analyze complex business processes
for risk and inefficiency and develop automated or web-based
solutions
·Ability to work collaboratively with other university units to
identify and minimize risk while maximizing efficiency
·Knowledge of BANNER Student Information System or other
similar oracle-based systems
·Demonstrated capability to effectively communicate with
external parties to resolve design and operational issues as may
arise with complex software systems
·Demonstrated ability to develop automated reports for data
retrieval and analysis and familiarity with report-writing
programs and integration with MS products
·Knowledge of and ability to supervise processing operations,
imaging, computer hardware, office network and web application
management
·Supervisory experience
·Minimum of a post-baccalaureate
degree in business, information management, public
administration, educational administration, accounting, finance
or a related field

Director
of Financial Aid at Bennett College
Bennett
College seeks to identify and hire a Director of Financial Aid.
Bennett College is a small historically Black liberal
arts college for women located in Greensboro, NC.
Student enrollment is currently at bout 500 students but
the institution has the capacity to accommodate more than 800
students. There has
been significant organizational restructuring under the
College’s new administration, lead by Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole.
In particular, the division of Enrollment Services was
created to place a more strategic focus on the enrollment plans
for the College. The
Director of Financial Aid serves as a key member of the
Enrollment Services Leadership Team.
The Director of Financial Aid, who reports
to the Vice President for Enrollment Services, will manage,
coordinate and supervise the administration of federal, state,
and institutional funds. The Director of Financial Aid ensures
compliance with financial aid regulations and develops policies,
procedures and strategies to support the enrollment goals of the
institution. The Director of Financial Aid will be responsible
for the supervision of staff, direction of computer system
development, fiscal reporting, development of financial aid
packaging strategies, and will serve as liaison between the
Financial Aid Office and all other campus offices.

Educational Support Services
Virginia Commonwealth University, School of
Dentistry is seeking highly qualified candidates for the
position of Director of Financial Aid and Educational
Support Services. This non-tenure administrative
faculty position reports to the Assistant Dean of Students
and works closely with the Associate Director of Financial
Aid for the University's Financial Aid Department. This
position is responsible for providing direction and
leadership for the financial aid services of a student
population of approximately 450 students, assurance that
the dental school program is in compliance with federal,
state and university regulations; providing all students,
new and returning with appropriate counseling to insure
that they are aware of financial aid eligibility;
coordinate office functions with offices on the academic
campus (admissions, student accounting, registrar, etc.);
prepare reports as necessary; providing debt management
services; the distribution of Title IV and ! Ti! tle VII
funding; developing and assisting in preparatory programs
for high school students; developing and implementing a
leadership training program; and assisting with
recruitment activities. Required qualifications
include a master's degree in Higher Education,
Administration, College Student Personnel or a related
area. A minimum of three years experience in
financial aid services and student support services or a
related field with knowledge of Title IV and Title VII
funding. Must possess excellent communication,
interpersonal, and organizational skills, ability to work
independently and make decisions based upon guidelines;
and deal with many issues concurrently. Above
average computer skills. Experience working in a
culturally diverse environment is also desirable. Salary
and rank will be commensurate with experience and
qualifications. The position will remain open until
