A dangerous worm virus continues to wreak havoc on computer systems. The Symantec Security Clearinghouse recently updated the W32.Blaster.Worm virus to a Category 4 from a Category 3 threat. The W32.Blaster.Worm exploits security vulnerability in Microsoft Windows. Symantec Security Response has developed a removal tool to clean infections of W32.Blaster.Worm and Microsoft has developed a patch.
