Diversity Committee

The Diversity Committee would like the membership to be aware of two exciting events we have scheduled for this year’s conference. Many of you, I am sure, are familiar with Mr. Tony Brown of PBS’ Tony Brown’s Journal. Mr. Brown is Dean and Professor of Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications at Hampton University, an author, a radio talk show host, a film director, an educator and so much more. We are elated to have Mr. Brown as the Diversity Committee’s speaker for the conference’s General Session on Tuesday.

This year, in lieu of our Leadership Symposium, we are inviting the membership to join us for Monday Night at the Movies. We will use the movie as a tool to demonstrate leadership styles in situations that are quite contemporary while taking a little time to relax and enjoy the camaraderie of our colleagues. Please come and share a bucket of popcorn with a friend – we hope to see you there!
