To my fellow VASFAA members, I want to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for all that you did to help make the SASFAA conference such a huge success.

People who are not involved with the “behind the scenes” activities of putting on a conference do not fully understand exactly how much the host state has to do in order for the SASFAA conference to be successful, but I know many of you logged in countless hours towards this event.

I received a note from one of the SASFAA Past Presidents when I returned home from the conference. In her note she said this was one of the best SASFAA conferences ever. That says a lot because this particular individual has been to many of these events. She is a Past President from the 90’s. Much of the credit for the conference going so well belongs to the Local Arrangements volunteers.

Thank you for all that you did and stepping up to the plate. I hope you enjoyed the conference and have had some time to recuperate now that’s over.
