For those of you 'old-timers' in VASFAA, you may remember Pamella Chavis, a former Director of Financial Aid at Hampton University. Estherine Harding, retired DFA from Norfolk State University, asked that we post this to the VASFAA membership. Our condolences go out to the family of the late Pamella Chavis.

Editors Note: Pamela passed away September 25, 2008. She was the Director of Financial Aid at Hampton University for 12 years. At the time of her death, she was a Special Education Geometry teacher at Phoebus High School and working toward her Ed.D. at Old Dominion University. The Virginian Pilot published her obituary on September 29th.
