Secondary School Relations Committee

Description:
This committee is responsible for scheduling, planning and coordinating statewide financial aid training workshops for high school guidance counselors. Activities include:

• Selecting and confirming workshop sites prior to the fall conference.
• Providing information and workshop materials to site coordinators at the fall conference.
• Providing workshop dates and location information to all Virginia high schools via brochures or mailings and through the VASFAA web site.
• Providing training workshops on how to conduct high school workshops, completing assessments of the workshops and conducting an overall evaluation of the benefits derived from these efforts.
